Like most nonprofits, RMC Ministries relies heavily on outside donations. It was important for us to first identify the demographic of individuals that would most likely donate to the causes and campaigns of RMC Ministries. We identified a trend that caused RMC to change their approach of how they presented the organization. RMC Ministries operates in South Sudan, Uganda, Romania, Mexico, and the United States. In these countries, they build and operate schools from elementary to vocational schools, build and operate orphanages, and operate radio stations. In the past, individuals within RMC’s demographic would donate to the countries that they felt connected to and wanted to make an impact in. However, the behaviors shifted to specific causes being donated to, such as education, radio or digital communication, and orphanages. We created a campaign targeting RMC’s new demographic using various tools, such as social media, digital mailers, branding, and SEO. RMC Ministries has now seen a new wave of donors that are very passionate, who aside from donating monetarily, also donate their time by volunteering for different causes.
